Worth the Commute?
Most EMTM students are based in the Northeast Corridor, accessible by AMTRAK and I-95. However, over the past several years, the number of students who commute from more significant distances has steadily increased. Currently, EMTM students travel from Florida, Texas, Illinois, Massachusetts and Missouri to attend classes. In addition, many students travel extensively for their jobs, although based more proximately to Philadelphia.
Such a commute puts an additional degree of complexity in an already busy schedule. Most students who commute use the time for preparation for class on their flights to the program and use the return trip to start applying the content to challenges they are currently facing at work.
